Rainwear Glossary

Coat cut: kimono straight, or kimono a-line, or straight, to adapt to different body shapes

Inset Sleeves: These sleeves most closely matches the bodies’ lines.

Microfibers fabric: Breathable fabric that offers good resistance to wind and rain. Microfibers are soft to the touch and comfortable to wear.

Pocket: on the side or appliqué

PVC: Poly vinyl chloride coated fabric - supple, waterproof

SLEEVES: cuff or elastic

Waterproof: A fabric which keeps you dry in the rain because it does not allow water in.
